History of Stonehenge England

Stonehenge one of the world of the 'circles out of megalithic stones preferred of S. Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in the English county of the WILTSHIRE, approximately 3.2 kilometers (2.0 SEMI) in the west of Amesbury and 13 kilometers (8.1 SEMI) of north of Salisbury. One of the most famous sites in the world, Stonehenge is composed of earthworks surrounding a circular arrangement of large stones upright and rests in the center of the densest complex of the monuments of Neolithic Bronze Age and in England, including several hundreds of monticules of burial. Stonehenge itself evolved/moved in some several phases of construction spanning at least approximately 1500 years. In some manner that there is obviously construction of broad scale before and afterwards on and around the monument which perhaps prolongs the landscape 'the time of S at 6500 years.

The new archaeological obviousness found by the project of bank of Stonehenge indicates that Stonehenge served as on the ground of burial of its beginnings earlier. The dating of the incinerated remainders noted that the burials took place as of 3000 B.C, when the first ditches were built around the monument. The burials continued at Stonehenge during at least still 500 years when the stones of giant which mark the terminal limits were put upwards. In April 2008 professor Tim Darvill of the university of Bournemouth and professor Geoff Wainwright of the company of the antique dealers began another excavation inside the stone circle to seek the fragments dateable original pillars of bluestone. They could up to now the construction of some bluestones with 2300BC, although this can earliest not reflect the construction of the stones at Stonehenge. They also discovered the organic material of 7000 BEFORE JESUS CHRIST, who, with the Mesolithic postholes, adds the support of the site having been in service at least 4000 years before Stonehenge was started. In August and September 2008, as an element of the project Julian Richards and Mike Pitts of bank excavated hole 7 of Aubrey, removing the incinerated remainders several holes of Aubrey which had been excavated by Hawley in the Twenties, and Re-interred in 1935.
